Introduction to Power Quality

This course introduces electrical industry learners to the basics of how thermal imaging can assist in meeting a customer’s electrical needs. Students will also learn the fundamentals of key power quality issues such as grounding, voltage flicker, harmonics, outages, and commercial/industrial facilities. Electrical industry professionals will learn how to identify these issues and how to proactively alleviate a customer’s power concerns before they become costly equipment failures.


This is the first of four courses in the power quality series. Upon successful completion of all four courses, you will receive an Advanced Power Quality Thermologist certificate.
